GROWING UP WITH ONE FAMILY URDU BIBLE
Growing up, Dr. Nasir’s family of nine had only one precious Bible in their entire home — a single copy that became their greatest treasure. Every morning before beginning their daily routines, each family member would gather eagerly to read from it. His father read first, setting an example of devotion; then his mother lovingly followed, her voice filled with faith. After her came the elder sister, and then young Dr. Naeem himself, with his younger siblings waiting patiently for their turn to read and listen.
This simple daily practice became the spiritual heartbeat of their home. Though they possessed only one Bible, it was treated as the most valuable book in the world — not because of its cover or pages, but because of the living Word of God within it. That single Bible nurtured their faith, brought unity to their family, and shaped their understanding of God’s love and promises. Despite the limited access, it deeply impacted their spiritual growth, created a hunger for God’s Word, and instilled in them a lifelong passion to share it with others who still do not have one.
