In 2009, our ministry began with a vision sparked by a family in desperate need. A poor household with nine children owned just one Bibleâworn, precious, and shared among them all.
That single Bible became their lifeline. As each child encountered Jesus through God's Word, something extraordinary happened. Wounds began to heal. Hope returned to their home. A family once broken by poverty and despair found strength and purpose.
This story ignited a calling: What if every family in Pakistan could experience this transformation? What if no child had to wait for their turn to read Scripture?
Free Urdu Bibles was born from that visionâto place God's Word directly into the hands of those who need it most.
Barriers Keeping Pakistanis From Scripture
Economic Barrier
A Bible costs Rs. 1,760 ($6 USD). For families living on less than $2 per day, this is an impossible expenseâequivalent to three weeks of food.
Religious Persecution
Christian minorities in Pakistan face social stigma and pressure. Openly owning a Bible can invite community backlash and family rejection.
Geographic Isolation
Rural villages and remote areas lack access to bookstores or churches. Scripture is simply unavailable in many communities.
Language Barrier
Most Pakistanis speak Urdu as their first language. Few Bibles are available in quality Urdu translations.
